I agree.

A pooch thread is good.

But can you get a puppy to roll around on a tortoise?!!

Or would he want to!!!

Not rollin?

Ok - how many of you have watched the salsa chiwawa numerous times?

Myself . dunno but cute. I shall return for another look...

Here's one for you.

She claps her hands- paws at the end.

Lovely!!

Must be something in the water in those Southern Countries.....

I love her wee skirt.

Sorry SBK but this one wins the prize!!!

She looks well looked after so no problems there-

Those last two were great, PoorSucker. The Golden retriever was amazing. Goldens just don't believe that they are dogs.

But, the dog running in its sleep was hilarious. I had a big belly laugh. The poor dog looked so ashamed after it crashed into the wall.

When the person taking this picture said, 'Smile for the camera,' they probably weren't expecting the dog to flash its gnashers too.

But thanks to his unexpected human-like expression of happiness, this chirpy canine has become an internet sensation.

The gleeful dog, pictured grinning ear to ear with his smiling owner, is now something of a star after his picture began being shared on social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter.

So that's what Facebook and Twitter are all about.

I was asked the other day why I had never looked at either. Now I have a good answer.

I was lured into 'LinkedIn' a few months back, the result being my mailbox was flooded with e-mails from Indians wanting jobs and Africans with bank accounts that needed filling. So I blocked all messages from that web-site.

OK for people without real friends, I suppose. But a waste of time for normal people.

I'm having misgivings about signing up for Facebook. I'm registered but I don't contribute anything. My mail box gets filled each day from people I barely know... and all their friends.

Border collies are one of the smartest breeds. It's amazing what they can be trained to do. I have some kiwi friend with a sheep station and they have 4 or 5 Border collies. I also have a friend in central BC who has a cattle ranch and he also uses Border collies.

I had a rather large Bernese Mountain dog about 20 years ago. He weighed 60 kilos - but he could move and dance with a frisbee, great memories!!! The only problem he wouldn't give the frisbees back!! he often had four or five in his mouth!!!

And at home he nibbled them, so i was finding little bits of fluorescent plastic all over the place....

I like how they jumped back when the dog started barking at them. :D
