Changing Motorbike Registration

Hi all first time poster long time follower!

I know this has been covered (as i searched it) but there seems to be conflicting ideas/rules/protocol. This is probably a question many new residents to phuket might have so a new updated thread seemed justifiable :)

So long story short, I have purchased a second hand Honda Airblade.

I have:

-the green book

-a work permit

-valid yearly visa

-I am staying in a serviced apartment short term until I can find a better living situation

what is the easiest way to get the bike changed to my name so that I can renew the insurance?

I've read some people post about needing proof of address, and others mentioning it not being nessessary if you have a work permit. I've also read that some agents/dealerships can do this for you (even if the bike didnt come from that particular shop) for a nominal fee. I dont mind paying a bit if its less headaches.

Anyways any help would be much appreciated, specifically related to doing this in phuket nowadays.

Thanks in advance.
