We are looking for a company that offers (very simple, single-layer) PCB manufacturing on a large quantity scale. There should be in-house custom engineering to help us find the cheapest solution to our needs. We have a working PCB prototype already, but would like to know if the same result can be gotten cheaper, with a better design. It would be nice if the company also has some strong contacts with electrnonic components manufacturers, to get the lowest possible prices for the components required. Price is more important than actual quantity...

You may want to try China then, Thailand makes pretty good quality in electronics manufacturing, but is more expensive for this than China.

yes , the cheapest manufacturers are in china. you should try them if you don't care about long turnaround time.
