Heavy rains still affecting some in Pattaya

PATTAYA: -- The heavy rains experienced over the weekend across Pattaya are still having an effect on many residents as floodwaters in some areas abate at an extremely slow rate. One road, situated off Soi Watboon in Jomtien, remains under water and officers from the Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Office of Pattaya City Hall were called to help out because some 30 bungalows were essentially cut off as there is only one way in and out. The drains on the main road are higher than the affected road, so pumps were brought in to start funneling the large amount of water.

Can someone keep us up to date of the state of the floods in Pattaya so that visitors will know - I wanted to go down there soon but won't if the traffic is badly affected either into, out of or around Pattaya.

How is it today (Weds)?

Cheers.
