Any Apartments With High-speed Internet?

Featured Replies

I'm looking for a place with high speed internet connection in Bangkok. Preferably wireless and near Central Pinklao. I have my own laptop. Any help would be very appreciated.

Sprocket , when you check a place out that boasts a Hi-speed wireless internet connection, don’t just read the technical pamphlet as it will obviously make a good read. Take your laptop with you and connect to their network if possible. At the very least, ask to see a computer that’s connected to their network and play around with it a bit to test the connection speed.

A lot of places offer this facility now in order to compete with other apartment buildings, but they’re not all the same and you could probably end up with the slowest internet connection you’ve ever experience in your life period.

I know of one guy who has zero signal in his apartment, yet when he moved out into the corridor everything is fine. They cannot resolve this ‘black spot’ issue for some reason and he’s now waiting to be moved to another room.

I’m sure there are more good networks than bad, but it pays to be vigilant.
