Anyone Know 'top Motor Sales'

Featured Replies

I'm trying to get hold of a Toyota that my local dealer is giving me headaches over. These guys seem to be helpful and interested ... and say they can supply me with a reasonable discount.

My main concerns are whether they are reliable and I'd be interested to hear if anyone has had any dealings with them, or know anyone who has. I know nothing about them apart from their website (www.topmotorsales.co.th) and an advert I saw on Baht and Sold, so reluctant to send a deposit against order until I know more.

Don't know them as well Patrick and would be interested to hear feedback. Another link you might be interested in is http://www.expatmotors.co.th . The owner also operates out Bang na way I believe.

Good luck :o

I do a fair bit of business with Top Motors Sales, a Thai outfit, they're a bit slow getting you the registration paperwork sorted.

Typical Thai way of doing business, will be your best mate until you pay and then forget about you.

Thanks for feedback. I've been promised so much by so many dealers, they seem to have a problem with the word 'truth', anything is possible until it comes to the moment of delivery!

What is a long time to wait for the reg paperwork? I am being told it will be about a month and this could be advantageous to hold over until start of 2006, then it will show as newer reg year.

Does a delay have any implications on insurance etc and what exactly do I need in the way of proof that I 100% own vehicle ... I ask this partly because I passed a Nissan dealership the other day which looks as if it has gone out of business, set me wondering what would happen if I paid money, got vehicle but had no reg doc!

Have decided to go for 3.0 Diesel 4WD Vigo Auto Black ... it appears impossible to get petrol version now and maybe diesel is a better bet, even though more expensive.

Expect a wait of 2-3 months to get rego sorted, make sure you get original red plates, if possible, not fakes, however 70% of new cars on the road have fake red plates.

There's plenty of petrol 'Tuners around!!!!
