My wife and I are visiting phuket for a couple days before moving on to other parts of thailand. We're only going to be staying 2 days/nights, and would like to see as much as we can of Phuket.

Can anyone give some recommendations for a hotel around 2-3000 bhat that is nice, clean, safe, in a fun area that we can see the sights, get around easily and hopefully get to check out the beach too?

I can highly recomend the Phuket Palace Resort, Patong Beach with very large rooms, friendly staff, a fantastic pool, and free transport within the Patong area
