I'm wondering if we're seeing the end of this year's South West Monsoon today. Humidity is noticeably lower, and a steady North-East breeze has set in for the last few hours. Also looks like former typhoon Nalgae is going to track south into lower Issan/Cambodia.

End of the rainy season? Or do I presume too much?

It is the start of the end of rain. But it will take some time before the rain stops and the cold season starts :)

Yeah, like LJW said. It's the start of the end, but too early to call it. Otherwise you might have to eat (or swim in) your words. I'm still watching the skies and the river height every day after last week.

When it goes down to 15 dgrees overnight low, my swimming stops :(

Drying out here but a thought for the folk further south. We have friends in Ayuttahya where there is water as far as the eye can see indundating huge industrial areas and towns . The known damage to peoples lives and the economy is yet to be fully known.
