I need to find out if Effexor/Venlafaxine are the same thing and Lamictal/Lamotrigine are the same thing are available in Thailand. Can someone point me in the right direction to see if I can get them and how much they cost. I am in Nepal at the moment and these are not available in this country and I need a refill.

Thanks guys,

Jeffrey

Go to Farcino on north Pattaya road nearly opposite tesco ,they carry most drugs ,should have no problem

Will they give him a prescription also, or something that will stop him from getting busted, Is it a clinic or a pharmacy.

Even if the medicines are the same and given that you are in Nepal how do you expect to get a re-fill?

I'm pretty sure that Google will give the answers as far as the "same same" goes.

These drugs are available in Thailand and do not require a prescription to buy. Any large pharmacy should have them.

Venlaflexine is available both as Efexor XR (expensive import) and Valosine SR (local generic equivalent).

Both are available only in sustained release form so if what you currently take is not sustained release, you need to get advice on dosing.

Lamotrigine is available only as Lamictal (imported).

if you tell us where in Thailand you'll be coming/staying we can advice more on specific pharmacy.
