Bangkok City Suite Hotel, at Petchaburi Road, not to far from bts, Baht 900.- for double room incl. breakfast

kao sarn road is not 'central bangkok' even if it right next to government house, most phetburi road isn't close to skytrain or mrt.. just take the bts and get off at nana, then walk around, plenty of cheap rooms there especially the small places

1.this is about 3 times normal KSarn price

2.this is NOT at all near to any rail-unless in the perception of some farang not knowing BKK and looking at map. Even the closest busstop will be hard to find from there.

Adv: try sites like hostelworld or hostelbookers-has 100s of BKK places-mostly traveller oriented overpriced dorms and hostels. There are some cheap places around Sapan kwai-currently near to or in flood-tell for WHEN.

Ibis sathorn or All seasons Siam , both are good enough for the price 1200-1400 baht a night.

Is Nasa Vegas that bad? I was thinking of staying there the next time I'm down there.
