Looking To Share Knowledge: G S B, M S A, M G L-02

This thread is dedicated to any member whose partner or relation has just been involved in a seminar where the graduates were given a fully fledged computer hardware system (reported to be valued at 25K Baht but I question that) including a ‘Government Savings Bank’ accounting software package. All has to do with future government village grants and auditing – up to 1 million Baht. Thus far there have been 300 villages (in the Udon Thani Provence) represented so someone in our clicke must know about it. TW has been involved with village development packages since, dare I say the Thaskin SML projects initiated about 2005, and still has the ATM card, heads up the local works committee and maintains accounts and audits.

I’m trying to help her way around this new package and build the initial data base BUT with my severe lack of Thai reading ability it is hard, but we must be streets ahead of most of the other village nomanies for the coarse. I have know idea how the Muppets out in the sticks are going to cope as the whole thing is reliant on them maintaining email connection to the bank, at least I’ve got that covered.

Please, this thread is only aimed at persons with direct knowledge as to what I’m on about.
