Crime Cyber Police Arrest Man Selling Illegal Chainsaws Online
Picture courtesy of SiamNews. Cybercrime police have apprehended a man involved in the illegal online sale of chainsaws and uncovered a cache of homemade firearms at his residence. Following an investigation into a Facebook fan page named “Chainsaw Trading,” officers from the Cyber Crime Division 4, led by Police Colonel Komsan Meepakdee, gathered evidence that the page was illegally selling chainsaws online. Authorities secured a search warrant from Chiang Mai Provincial Court and conducted a raid on 8 August at a house in Moo 7, Nong Phueng Subdistrict, Saraphi District, Chiang Mai Province. During the search, police found Mr. A in possession of seven Stihl model 070 chainsaws, 16 chainsaw guide bars and 12 chainsaw chains. Additionally, officers discovered illegal firearms including one .22 calibre revolver, six homemade air rifles mounted on the house wall, one air pistol, and several rounds of ammunition. None of the chainsaws or firearms were properly licensed under Thai law. Mr. A admitted to collecting firearms and had acquired the homemade guns from antique shops, using them as decorative items on his house walls. He also purchased used chainsaws from antique shops and local villagers, repairing and refurbishing them before advertising for sale on Facebook and other online platforms to supplement his income. Authorities noted that the chainsaws exceeded the engine power and guide bar length limits permitted by law, prompting the confiscation of all items as evidence. Mr. A faces charges of illegal possession of firearms and ammunition, unlicensed possession of chainsaws and conducting chainsaw repair business without the required registration. Car insurance cancelled with no warning.
12 years ago I was told that I could only get First class insurance for three years, after that it would have to be Second Class. I still have First class. What I mean is, they seem to make the rules up as they go along. You need to find an insurance broker. -

The vehicle lost control and crashed into a bridge pier under the Bang Na–Trat Expressway in Bang Pakong district, Chachoengsao province. The vehicle lost control and crashed into a bridge pier under the Bang Na–Trat Expressway in Bang Pakong district, Chachoengsao province. Police Lieutenant Jetsa Uafoo, deputy investigator at Bang Pakong Police Station, received the emergency call and promptly attended the scene at kilometre 47 on the inbound expressway to Bangkok, beneath a bridge in Bang Pakong subdistrict. At the scene, rescuers found the boy’s body lying face-up near the bridge pier, beside his overturned motorcycle, registered in Suphanburi province. The 14-year-old girl was found semi-conscious in the drainage ditch beside the pier and was immediately taken to Bang Pakong Hospital for emergency treatment. The boy’s father arrived shortly after and was devastated upon seeing his son’s body, breaking down in tears. He revealed that his son had taken the motorcycle without informing the family. The news reached them only when one of the boy’s friends called to report the fatal crash. According to friends, the boy had not wanted to return home, so he and his companions decided to ride to Bang Saen beach for a trip. On the return journey the crash occurred. The girl passenger had managed to make a telephone call for help, reporting that her friend had collided with a bridge pier and died. Car insurance cancelled with no warning.
I have had my Ford Ranger insured with the online "R" for well over 12 years and paid monthly. Never made a claim. June payment wasn't deducted from my account & I heard nothing from them, not even an email. Suddenly when the next payment was due they abrubtly cancelled my policy with no recourse and no I cannot reinstate it. As I am O/S at present and it has caused a major headache as the car is company owned and under finance. Bad luck, my fault as usual. "TIT" -
