hello

i'm from macedonia, and i'm want to know the details of getting tourist type of visa for going in thailand? for lets say 10-30 days?

i read http://www.thaivisa.com/272.0.html, but i'm not sure of the fee.

is it 1900 baht or 25$? Not sure.

Thankyou

You need to obtain a tourist visa before entry to Thailand. The nearest Thai Mission for you is the Royal Thai Embassy in Athens, Greece. [email protected]

Agreed you/ll need to contact them for the fee as they do not have a website.

The 1900 baht you refer to is for a 30 day extension to a Tourist visa not for the visa itself.

There is an official fee for the visa, BUT the embassies/consulates

seem free to apply whatever exchange rate they wish.

You will have to ask the going rate when you apply.

1000bt per entry, in local currency.

Not always Sierra01 if you look at this link you/ll see its 25 pound sterling (approx 1750 baht) per entry whereas the Los Angeles office charge only $25 US (approx 1000 baht).

They are just a bit slow, haven’t adjusted the exchange rate yet since June 1997.

Give them time! You know how the British go for tradition :o
