dagling Posted December 11, 2011 Posted December 11, 2011 (edited) A strange name you may think apparently this name was given to me by my mother, who say's she's pretty sure I was conceived on the pillion seat of an old Norton dominator 88 mc in a far corner of the ace café car park on a cold foggy evening in London. The bike in question had just achieved the magic ton 100 mph on the London north circular road and the riders prize was popping his cherry with my mum in a racing position on the Norton café racer whilst on it's main stand. The rest of the story? Have a closer look at the photo Edited December 12, 2011 by craigt3365 removed inappropriate picture
Lickey Posted December 11, 2011 Posted December 11, 2011 My Dad had a 500 Matchless, i dont think i was concevied on it, but i will never know?? I bought a 1957 Norton 88, wideline fearther bed frame, it had a 1956 Daytona camshaft installed by the Jaguar engine specialist Brian Cracknell, , the bike cost me 12 pounds 10shilings in 1969, 1970 i bought an old Triumph tiger 110, 1972, i sold both bikes to Steve Sinnot, sidecar racer from Lincolnshire for 20 quid, when i look at the prices nowadays, i really could kick myself, Good story OP, we need more like this specially for the old boys like me,,
