Letter In English To Thai Company

Featured Replies

I have some issues with a Thai company but are definitely in breach of contract. The contract was made in English and all communication,phone-email etc.,was done in English since the owner of the company speaks perfect English.

I want to send them an registered letter by post to legally notify them of their shortcomings and which I would like to have completed in the very near future or I will terminate the contract.

Is it legal to write this letter in English, considering the above mentioned facts,or can the company claim that they didn't understand the letter as it wasn't in Thai if it comes to a courtcase.

In order to avoid any possible misunderstanding or conflict should it come to court, it would be best to have the letter in both Thai and in English delivered by registered mail.
