Fm 88

Featured Replies

This is last straw. I am listening to the new FM 88 music format and they are using I don’t know who but they all singing original songs, and the artist who singing the songs sound very mush like the original artists but you can tell the difference.

Any way to day i was listening to a song by Jimmy Buffet and this guy murdered the song. it sucked so much that I deleted FM88 from my car’s radio memory. Never again

Come on now - how can you murder a Buffet song? Is that really possable. jap.gif

Wave FM 88 died at the end of October 31, 2011. The frequency was never owned by Wave but by Radio Thailand. Wave FM 88 leased the frequency. Radio Thailand programed the news segments and any other content they wanted. Now on life support, the frequency stays alive continuing to broadcast RT news and "anything else they want to broadcast." Including Hong Kong music factory covers of cover songs. This is the same music content you hear when you visit most dining establishments using programed music including gems like "Bossa Nueva does the Stones"

Hits like "Let's Spend The Night Together" with every bit of essence sucked out to make them

fully family friendly and lacking any power or element of power which may be felt as confronting Sabi while thinning the soup to a pale broth of tasteless salted brine.

Keeping the frequency on life support serves several masters. A dead frequency is rather worthless in the marketplace irrespective of content.
