Featured Replies

GM Nigel Short, an English Chess Grand Master, gave a simultaneous exhibition last month at Queen Sirikit Conference Center. It was part of the SET in the City 2005 activities organized by mai and Thailand Chess Association (TCA).

This link below is TCA website that has an illustrated report of this event.

If you are a chess enthusiast, please check the website periodically for future activities. We'll organize a chess championship tournament in Febuary next year.

Bkkmadness, if you like rapid game, you can also visit the Bangkok Chess Club. They play chess every Tuesday and Friday evening. The places are Bull's Head Pub and The Admiral's. Here is their website.. http://www.bangkokchess.com/

Thanks, I might go and try that next year. I play a lot online now on the gameknot.com website.
