ตามที่ได้คุยกับคุณธรรมนูญเมื่อเช้านี้เกี่ยวกับการยุติการดำเนินการใดใดที่บ้านของ นายอีริคเนื่องจากนายอีริคไม่ได้จ่ายเงินค่าสินค้าที่ยังคงค้างกับทางบริษัทฯ ทางบริษัทฯตกลงตามที่ได้คุยกับคุณธรรมนูญคือยุติการดำเนินการทุกอย่างรวมถึงไม่ส่งมอบกุญแจสำรองที่อยู่กับทางบริษัทฯให้กับนายอีริค โดยให้นายอีริคหาจ้างผู้รับเหมาเจ้าอื่นเข้าทำการซื้อและเปลี่ยนแปลงเอง โดยให้ถือเป็นค่าใช้จ่ายของนายอีริค และขอยกเลิกสัญญาเกี่ยวกับการจ้างเหมาจัดททำประูตูหน้าต่างบ้านของนายอิริคและไม่ติดใจที่จะเรียกร้องค่าเสียหายหรือค่าใช้จ่ายตามสัญญาใดๆทั้งสิ้นเกี่ยวกับเรื่องนี้ทั้งทางแพ่งและทางอาญาอีกต่อไป

The above standing agreement was emailed from the company's owner private email address ( not a webbased email service) to the counseler of the board of consumer protection by a window installer who worked on my home but failed to complete the project after the agreement was reached by phone.

It has been translated by 2 translation offices and both give a different version.The correct version is supposed to say that the installer terminates the contract and denounces any claims on remaining payment.

My question however is that the counseler says that only this email is legally sufficient and no further documents are needed as the court in Thailand will accept a statement by email as evidence.

It is not a scan of a document or there is no signature in the email.The email just exist of the text shown in this post and is a reply to an email sent to the company by the counseler.

Is this correct?

The Thai Courts will accept an email. Thai law states that email correspondence is deemed as an acceptable document to use in evidence in the Courts.
