I was on the bike forum I like a wind up and a guy at 74 just got his license allegedly, I know that in UK 70 is a cut off point to an annual check up etc but somewhere in my mind 70 I remember being told was the cut off point altogether in Thailand. ??

What about the younger age limit. We all see schoolgirls about 12/13 riding on bikes, with no helmets and 2 passengers.

16 for less than 100cc

How often are you usually stopped by the police?...in my case twicein past 10 years...and I only showed them my US DR...and they looked,and I got it back...100BHT

I have another 3 years to go yet to reach 70 and then I may give up biking but my wife won't let me drive the car if she is with me.

On my own is no problem.

I definitely don't like being on the bike at night and I am less happy in the car at night than I used to be.

I suppose the the only answer is to ask the local DLT at some stage if Im still up to it, I just thought some people on here would know but apparently not except the guy who has just got a motorcycle license at 74.
