Thai Travelling To Malaysia

Featured Replies

Just for info.

Thai friend was refused booking on line by Air Asia as their passport did not have 6 months remaining,

Passport expires in May

Most countries have 6 months passport validity condition for visas issue.wai.gif

Issue of visa's basically has nothing to do with it.....in case of the OP the person concerned they were on a Thai passport travelling to Malaysia, therefore as the passport is an Asean PP they dont need a visa if stay is 30 days or less.

Mrs Soutpeel was stopped a few years ago at Swampy for the same reason when we were travelling to Singapore on holiday, unfortunately for them their cunning plan failed because the girl behind the counter couldnt count in stating there was less than 6 months on the passport, when I counted I came to grand total of 7.5 months remaining on the PP, which I had checked before we travelled LOL
