I used to buy tickets online while I abroad until I read their terms and conditions, they state that if the ticket is purchased while you are outside the UK or if you are not a UK resident, the ticket will be void :(

If you win big time and the nat lotery rep pops round to see you about the ticket might be the time when they find you are out of the country and decline to pay you out.

As i said if you open a account in the uk and set up a DD or pay by your uk bank card then you have no problem. So if you win say 3 mil you can get them to put it in a offshore account or go back pick the check up. That way your best mate can't fly away with it.Anyone can bye a ticket but you have to be in the uk to do it.clap2.gifdrunk.gifdrunk.gif

I would not bet on that being the case, would you want to take that gamble? A bit like the lottery itself, I used to do it but not any more, it is against their terms and conditions, they will not pay you and your win will go to other "good causes" Probably wont win any way.
