Embassy Open Hours During Songkran & Burial

I understand the embassy will be closed during 13-16 April but what about the burial days of the Royal Princess?

Which embassy are we talking about, the Thai embassies abroad or the foreign embassies in Thailand?

With all due respect to the Thai Embassy / Consulate abroad they not update that often and this burial came just last week.

I'd like to know also as I just booked for a visa run to KL for the dates right before songkran. KL site doesn't offer any info.

I do not think they will close for the burial maybe they just wear black. But you never know.

The 9th has been declared an official Thai Holiday and I imagine that the Embassies will also be closed. as they will be for Songkran the 13th,14th 15th, and 16th.

Any more news on this? If only the 9th that will be OK, but if it also covers the 10th that would throw a spanner in the works.

9th is a Monday, this would make for nice holiday including the weekend

7th to 16th.

You still don't say which embassy or consulate we are talking about.

Thai embassies and general consulates are staffed by Thai government officials and will normally be closed on Thai government holidays. Thai honorary consulates are not staffed by Thai government officials and might very well be open.
