I was just looking at the odds for some games this week.

Swans $2.32, Collingwood $1.62.

Essendon $1.81. Richmond $2.02

You cant always go by odds of course. Last week North were $3.15, WCE about $1.20? WCE won after the siren. Brisbane were super long odds V Essendon.

But this week.....Essendon and Richmond almost even? Sydney close to Collingwood?

By crikey!! Swans all over Collingwood at half time!

Who ever doubted the Swannies? whistling.gif

I never did but I was still worried until about 6 min to go. A great win indeed. Goodes had a great game. An incident about 2 minutes from the end re a spectator and Goodes will be tomorrows story. Goodes left the ground with 1m 16 sec to go and went straight to the dressing room. The spectator was escorted off by security

It is the Indigenous round, so I am assuming it was a racial taunt.

Yes that is what the commentators were eluding to. The way he reacted it has to be a good assumption.

Every chance it was a bad loser from Collingwood and the game he played must have got up his nose

Kudos to Goodes for taking a stand also. Nothing worse than ignorant hatred based on skin colour.

Goodes just had a blinder of a game. Not bad for a 33 year old with 320+ games under his belt

A major security incident occurred at the MCG last night during the Pies Swans game.

Channel Seven cameras zoomed in as security personnel swooped on the perpetrator, who was frog-marched out of the stands into the waiting arms of police for interrogation.

A visibly shaken Adam Goodes was immediately taken from the ground, and he slipped down to the change rooms so he could compose himself in peace and quiet.

After the game, Eddie McGuire, Collingwood president and Leader of the Free World, got airtime to publicly condemn the actions.

The offender has since been hanged and quartered by the media and social networks.

What happened?? Did some lone-wolf smuggle in an AK 47 rifle and take a couple of pot shots at players?

Nope. Worse. Much worse!

A young teenage girl sitting in the front row directed a rude word or two at Goodes, presumably about the colour of his skin.

Australia lost its innocence last night.

Seriously, I think we should all move on from this incident

I do not condone racism

Adam Goodes is a champion.

When you mix Collingwood with Moe you don't actually produce a top quality product. I actually grew up in moe and worked in the place, makes Broadmeadows look like toorak

The saints are finnished for the year, will be lucky to win another game. Spend the season playing all the young blokes and get some games into them before the cull prior to the draft. If Gold Coast win they could jump to 9th and above the pies on %

Saints should win a few more but I agree with you about playing youth. They cant make the finals. I could see the Saints pulling off some upsets. Didnt help having Lenny Hayes subbed out of teh game at the start of the 4th.

The Richmond Essendon game is good..Half time...Essendon by 20

In the other game

Carlton were leading 53 - 21 seven minutes into the 2nd Q

Brisbane were leading 58 - 55 at half time

just watched a great and absorbing game between N. Melbourne and Adelaide.

crows clinched it in the dying seconds with a goal to win by 1 point.

i know the games got its knockers, but i can say as an Englishman i have been hooked ever since i went to see Essendon vs Hawthorn with an Aussie girlfriend of my mine back in the 90's at the oval in London.

nice to see the Bombers doing well this season ! biggrin.png

Great game tigerfish, in general and of course the Kangaroos v Adelaide tongue.png

Hard to believe North could lose that game. Up by almost 40 points at one stage, up by 24 with about ten minutes to go. Why didn't they slow down the play?? blink.png

Adelaide led the game for one time only. 20 seconds before the final siren..laugh.png

Tigerfish.

If you follow the great game, you will only be an Englishman, when the bails are placed during the Ashes :-)
