Set Up A Company With A Non-O Visa Based On Marriage

Featured Replies

hi guys :)

well again, its me! haha here to correct my typo..

my husband and I are NOW a very happily married couple ......again ..NOW haha

so we are now trying to get a company set up ..

I have been told we need 1 mill baht of capital..do we need this cash up front at once when we go get it registered..

im so clueless when it comes to things like this..

thank again guys! :)

First thing you need to do is get a lawyer then he/she will explain all you need to do including the capital part. You might get some info here but trust me you will do much better seeing a lawyer as you will need one anyways.

Go to the panit changwat which will be located in the capital of the province, they will supply you with a list of requirements to set up a company.

If your only reason for setting up a company is to get your husband a visa, it is easier to apply for an extension based on being married to a Thai national. 400.000 in a Thai bankaccount or a confirmed income of 35.000/month. Plenty of threads on the requirements here on TV.

Those are requirements for an extension of stay based on marriage, not a visa, and actually it's proof of income of 40,000 Baht.

Also, agree with the earlier advice, consulte a lawyer, but probably even an accountant can help file the appropriate documents depending on the structure of the business.
