Homeworks & Homepro, Any Others On Phuket?

Featured Replies

Besides homeWorks and HomePro is there another one in Phuket where you can buy everything you need in one go, from tiles to paint, from air conditioner to kitchen utensils, from furniture to window frames etc.? Alternatively can someone recommend one (other than the two mentioned above) in Bangkok? I understand that unfortunately in Phuket nor Bangkok is a Global House.

There is no Global House here in Phuket. You are stuck with HomePro & HomeWorks for the full range of your needs. You will get many items in House & Home on Chofa West road, not sure about the air cons & window frames & furniture. Another big wholesale place is Sang Chai on the bypass road. Will have most of your items except furniture and aircons.

// just noticed you are asking about Bangkok. Moving there, and leaving a tag in Phuket forum

Thanks LivinginKata. Will check out the two you mentioned: House & Home and Sang Chai.

Perhaps not all in one go, but same area. Is True Value still there? How about HAFALE, i.e. the red "A" building. What's that other furniture store called near Central...the Living Room? Each of these will have a few things on your list and are opposite/next to Central. Expensive though.

EDIT: Above is referencing Phuket.

There's a Global House in Ratchaburi, not too far from central Bangkok. Chonburi is about an hour away. Worth the drive if you have a bunch of stuff to buy. It's my favorite place to shop in Thailand!!

where to start, Home Mart, Home and Garden, but the best place is Seang Chai on the bypass road about 3km north of the big tesco lotus

Not forgetting Supercheap, for most goods (but avoid bargain basement priced goods - they stock a fair bit of shoddy stuff along with the decent stuff).
