Dr Patpong (and anyone else), I was wondering if you could advise me on a visa I have read about for Thai's who have given up their Thai citizenship in favour of a foreign citizenship, but wish to return to Thailand to work.

I have seen this mentioned from time but can't find any information on it now (typical!)

Could anyone give me the lowdown on what this visa lets you do. Do you need a work permit? Does it give you automatic permenant residency? How does one go about getting one?

Any help would be useful!

She/he has to enter Thailand with a NON-O visa in the foreign passport, contact the local amphur and try to sort it out, e g get a new Thai ID card and passport.
