How many bags of sand and cement will i need for 600 block build??? Also any ideas on an estimate for a roof.. Building onto the side of the wives parents home and the roof space will be 9M in length and 5M in width... Looking for prices of the c-pac style tile.. need the estimate for the tiles and the roof beams basically all the roof.. Really appreciate any input.. Thanks David

As for the roof structure what are going to use.

How it's usually done in LOS upcountry: You find somebody to do the labor (via word of mouth or you stuck with the relative). He should know approximately how much blocks, sand, and cement to do the job. Find out where the local source for material (probably several and probably all pretty much the same price for things). Order it, pay for it, and hope the job gets done correctly. Same for the roof.

For the tile, go shopping yourself. Pick out what you like and load it in your vehicle or have it delivered if too much for you.

Prices for these things are locality dependant so all somebody here can do is tell you what they paid in their place.
