Don't suppose the glute problem is helping much either.

BTW. if he's got a hamstring in his shoulder that could be very serious.

Mate of mine had that. Never played again.

So when was the last time a player forced his way out of man utd against the clubs wishes , player just dont do it do theybiggrin.png

http://www.theguardian.com/football/2013/aug/05/wayne-rooney-manchester-united-squad

Finally Rooney is doing something. He should have handed in a transfer request long ago. Now lets see what the new United "management" comes up with.whistling.gif

We don't have to come up with anything Jelly whistling.gif ...Chelsea do although i still can't believe they would want him....with the young talent they have already bought.

I mean as if he is going to be playing every game for them.

I still say the MLS Red.laugh.png Big communal pot of money a la Beckham. Rooney could turn a hat trick every game and go down in history. He'd be like a buffalo rumbling through the grassy plains.

Or, maybe China...Looney, Looney, Looney !!!tongue.png

(Drogba's probably told him already about the big Chinese business bosses in counterfeit black Buicks who don't pay the bucks they promise.)

That's a tough one to swallow Red. No wonder United is having a hard time saying goodbye.facepalm.gif

I hear your bid for Fellatio has been increased.tongue.png

Utd have been throwing big money around for years but in current times you have to be a bit smarter. Theres too many oligarches and sheiks who can affoed to do the same and more.

Fellaini an effective player but hardly going to bridge the gap in the Utd midfield. That person was Fabregas or Modric.

Well it seems like we are being VERY careful in reality i think Moyes is taking stock of the players we have at the moment and the Rooney situation is not very helpful, one player of the Fabregas quality would of been enough...alas Felliaini won't cut it for me.

I still think Modric is a good fit, if nothing comes of Fabregas

Apparently the old guard, Giggs, Rio and Evra have turned on Rooney now, according to a few sources, they are refusing to play with him and, its actually Rio that has said Rooney will not feature in his testimonial..!

We've got about 25 defensive midfield players so which one do you want, just doing you a favourite like biggrin.png

If they don't have someone up their sleeve this has been a desperately poor transfer window for Utd. Yes, Fellaini's a very decent player and a good addition but hardly the top priority. Presumably 8ft hairball coming in will trigger the move of Rooney but surely Moyes won't want to be going into the season relying on Beverley?

Yes. A desperately poor window so far.

The preseason matches have lacked a little something too.

I think Rooney could well be better off elsewhere......like he said to Mr Ferguson about 3 years ago.

Modric for me is also not what we want.

Why not?

He is overrated

You can do better than that surely?

His vision is excellent for a blind rat in any case.

Always fancied Modric tbh and Chelsea wanted him.

Creative. A bit special, despite looking like a runt.

If he was good enough for Madrid reckon he'd be more than good enough for Moyes in the present circumstance.
