Returning Home If Necessary

Hello,

i just joined this forum a short time ago and i must say it already helped me a lot about visa issues in thailand........

My question is if i stop working in my country belgium and go on an multy-NI-b visa to thailand for 1 year to start up a business can i still return to belgium with my thai wife if the business is not a succes and we dont have money to stay in the kingdom ? Do they still ask if i can support my wife when i go back to my home country with her because then i will have to work again, i suppose not, but i like to know for sure

The Belgian embassy site makes no mention of having to prove your ability to support your wife:-

Spouse of a Belgian national.
