Leaking Forks And Good Mechanics In Cm

Featured Replies

Just had new seals and springs fitted to front forks. After a after a few hundred km high speed fork oil was leaking. Mechanic says he may have overfilled forks, so excess oil can force its way past seals under high pressure, but seal will be fine now excess has gone. Sounds fishy to me. Any experienced riders willing to comment? And BTW, any suggestions re best place in Chiang Mai to get old CB1 400 looked after?

Depends whether it continues to leak, was it from both forks ?

They should never of been overfilled in the first place, change your mechanic.

Don't know in CM any good bike shops I am sure someone will recommend one.
