I set up my HT but there's only sound coming from the center speaker???!!!

My setup is simple just to check for sound. I used a hdmi cable from my ps3 to my tv for visual and optical cable from ps3 output to input on my HT receiver.

So why is sound only coming from one center speaker instead of all of them?

Really need help pls pls pls!

To get some assistance you will need to be a bit more specific I think.

Often by the way depending upon the source and the setting, sound will only come out of the centre speaker.

I'll give it a try. But just one more question, u seem to kno a lot about HT. I bought it second hand and the wires that came with it are all grey apart from 2 which are black and red.... I know what to do with the black and red wires but on the grey wired which is positive and which is negative?
