Visa after married to a thai

Featured Replies

I will be marry a thai citizen women this coming May.  As of now I do not have a working permit.  Please advise how I can apply for a residency permit after our marriage.  I am a Filipino so will there be a problem to acquire for a residency.  Another thing please advise what paper work I need to prepare.

You can apply for residency after having one-year-extensions from Thai immigration for at least three (3) years. But that's hard to get, even harder for Filipino citizens.

So when you are legally married you should start the one year visa process with getting a NON-O visa at a Thai consulate or embassy.
