Of course you can, if you like it, make an install on the HD. Enlightenment project homepage here. Looked around a little and indeed Enlightenment starts looking better and better. However, nood need to a new distro for this. The windows server runs nicely with every distro as far as I know...
January 20, 200620 yr Author Of course, but as it's a LiveCD, it allows anyone to have a look and test it without installing anything. I'm not sure that all distros have e17 packages, so, depending on your distro you will have to compile it from source. And it takes a little bit more time.
