Hello!

for international transfers from europe to thailand,my bank need the branch code!

someone told me,its always the first 3 digits,of the acount number!

can someone confirm this?

what happen,when the branch code,is wrong,for international transfers?

does the money coming back to me,after 2 weeks?

is there any website where i can find all bank branch codes in thailand?

I would agree the branch code is the first 3 digits of your account number but for a Swift type of wire transfer when you set up the wire with the sending bank they need the Swift code and the complete account number as well as the Main office address of the bank. The branch code really should not be necessary in the set up. But of course all banks do not operate the same I know

I send to SCB and only need SWIFT code (SICOTHBK) and full account number. Never had a problem. Maybe if your bank insists on a branch code then put in the first 3 digits of your account number.
