What Is Best Indoor Tv Analogue Aerial

Featured Replies

looking to purchase an indoor tv aerial (one that sits on top of the tv) for a thai couple who only have the 5 local analogue channels 3 5 7 9 PBS

is there a particular shape that works better than others and what about one with gain that plugs into the electric ?

i wanted to put an aerial on the roof for them but next doors rooftop aerial was recently hit by lightning and fried the electrics in their house so they are adamant that it has to be an indoor one......at the moment they have a wire coathanger as an aerial jammed in the back...pic not good

so any ideas or tips on getting a good signal.....thanks in advance.....I am in Chiang Mai

I am not an advocate of set top aerials, too unreliable,

and difficult to position as the transmitters are in different directions,

meaning fiddling about every time the channel is changed.

Do they have a loft space?

Mounting the antenna(s) inside the loft will allay the lighting worry.

I feel sure there must be an electronic component shop around that can supply

the necessary aerial. No doubt others will help you locate a suitable shop.
