February 4, 200620 yr It was long ago I had PS and it was really fun to play. Now friend of mine sent me PSP and PS2 from US. What does the games cost for those consoles? Where can I buy it? Originals? Pirates? Will local games play on PS2 from US? It is NTSC, and the locals probably PAL? What about modification chip? Any information kindly appreciated !
February 6, 200620 yr It's been a while since I had my PS2 chipped. I think it was around 2,000 baht plus 2 or 3 games thrown in. On mine I can't play any of the old PS1 games and only allows certain DVD movies to be played. The copied PS2 games run from around 80 baht, the cheapest I've seen yet, to around 120 baht. It will pay to shop around if you plan on buying tons of them in one go. Or, simply ask if there's a discount on buying in quantity. Same with buying DVD movies. TVs and stuff are NTSC here. Just remember to select 'Auto' on the TV video channel.
