February 6, 200620 yr Khunying Sudarat to support 500 million baht to push construction of reservoir in PHRAO District of CHIANG MAI The Agriculture and Cooperatives Minister, KHUNYING SUDARAT KEYURAPHAN (คุณหญิง สุดารัตน์ เกยุราพันธุ์), will support a 500-million-baht budget to push the construction of a reservoir in PHRAO (พร้าว) District of CHIANG MAI (เชียงใหม่) Province. During her visit to CHIANG MAI, KHUNYING SUDARAT would like to hear the local people’s demands on three main subjects, which are the construction of MAE DRA RUAM (แม่สะรวม) Reservoir, the excavation of 3,500-meter MAE NGUD (แม่งัด) canal, and the construction of a barn. She said that the constructions of MAE DRA RUAM Reservoir and a barn will cost 500 million baht and 2 million baht respectively, while the excavation of MAE NGUD Canal will take about 3 million baht to implement. She said that the reservoir will be used for preventing flood and water shortage. The barn will be used for storing rice and Longan.
