i've been looking for an indirect hot water cylinder to use in a solar hot water heating system,

I was hoping to find one near by (,I;m near to Surin and Buri Ram ) but can drve where ever if need be

any hows hope there's sombody out there able to help..........................cheers, tony

When the pressures are no greater than solar (assuming some PVC) it would be easy to make.

The only "real" ones I've seen are in areas where they heat with coal or oil and a boiler, and the boiler water provides the household hot water indirectly. I'm referring to buildings which have a boiler to heat registers throughout the building.

It's basically just an insulated tank to hold the household hot water, and a copper coil in it to carry "other" hot water to heat the water in the tank.

thanks, i have thought about making my own water tank with a coil would just have been so much more convienient to buy on with the option of having a backup imersian heater

i supose the advantage of building my own is that i can put in a much longer coil

thanks again , Tony
