New Cbr150 , Rust Problem Common?

Hi i have a 2011 CBR 150. . and my back fairing and swing arm have start to rust after 7000km . . .

Sounds like a real poor build quality. . . can it be a warranty issue ?!

Never heard of a rust problem, but these are cheap bikes made in Thailand, so i wouldn't expect Europe/Japanese build quality.

Rust usually has nothing to do with km but with water. How often did you place your bike outside in the rain? Are you parking it protected in dry conditions or is it getting wet every time its raining?

Can you please show some pictures of the troublespots? I would then pay special attention to it at my 150

Is this a warranty issue? I don't know. Guess it will be hard to get attention from Honda for this.

No rust problems with mine either, It is kept under shelter every night but I have no problems riding in the rain. Do you live near the sea? the salt and moisture in the air can cause a lot of problems i believe. Either way, I very much doubt any warranty would cover rust.
