Good Gaming Headset? Planetside 2!

Featured Replies

Any recommendations? Since voice communications with your squad and other players is an integral part of Planetside 2 (unless you want to do a lot of walking), I'm pretty keen to get a headset.

Looking for something comfortable, good quality sound and a boom mike. More interested in sound quality rather than price.

Thinking about a Razer Tiamat 2.2. Seems to have good reviews and also actually seems to be available in Bangkok, with a bit of digging around.

i gave up on Razer headset due to bad quality over the years. Ur just paying razer for the logo rather than quality.

Recently bought the Sennheiser PC360. Superb sound and boom mic clarity,

Well I found a Razer Tiamat 2.2 and impulse bought it. Seems ok, bearing in mind that its for gaming rather than music and emphasises the blowing things up end of the spectrum. Picked up a Deathadder mouse as well, and that is definitely excellent - leaves my highso Logitech mice for dead.

Read very bad reviews about their keyboards though - seems they have a major quality control problem with those.

Yeah the sennheiser pc360 is a gamers headset which i use for gaming and team chat over Skype.

When i was using a Razer headset people used to complain about static , background noises and about the fan blowing into the mic.

As for Razer keyboards , i have used most of them with 0 problems. Recently about 3 weeks ago i just bought a new mechanical Ducky keyboard to replace my Blackwidow.
