Changeing a Yahoo smilie

Changeing a smilie in MSN messenger is easy, just follow the instructions, but in Yahoo it's not so simple. Somehow Yahoo doesn't want to break open this source. Why ? I don't know.

But I will tell you as simple as possible.

Downloading a custom smilie

Say you want to change , or some other smilie, in your list of Yahoo smilies.

1. Jap : Go to : http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/index.php?s=...ndpost&p=640286

2. Click on : http://img147.imageshack.us/img147/8686/waiingjapnew05zn.gif

3. Click on : File

4. Choose : Save as ... and remember where you saved it.

It's located on you hard disk now.

Changing a custom smilie in Yahoo

A. Go to C:\Program Files\Yahoo!\Messenger\Media\Smileys on your hard disk

B. You can see your smilies there. Say you don't like 74.gif

C. Rename it to [example] xx74.gif

D. Copy your custom smilie to C:\Program Files\Yahoo!\Messenger\Media\Smileys

E. Rename it to 74.gif

F. To show the smilie, you must type the code in Yahoo Messenger or - Chat, so o-> ...
