Hi all

the mrs has insisted on buying wallpaper (from homepro) for a new room we have built.

having papered my old houses in the UK many times over the years its a diy job.

but.... wallpaper paste .. mmmm

homepro told the mrs and sold her bottles of pva glue .. i think we called it copydex in the uk and used it to join carpet among other things .. but for wallpaper ?

i have always used a powder that you add water to, leave to thicken then slop it all over the back of the paper, allow to soak a bit then onto the walls.

this pva glue is not going to do that and for sure i'd think the very thin layer will dry pretty quick..

i've read about home made glu with sticky rice or flour , but not sure if that really would work.

anyone seen real wallpaper paste in or around pattaya please
