Anyone seen such a device around in Thailand? I know it possible to get them from Ebay or alike, but should be convenient if could just buy it here.

These ultrasonic bird/insect/rodent repelling devices have very mixed reviews and the consensus seems to be that most only work for a short time if at all. The idea is compelling but I've always put them in the snake oil category. If you get good (lasting) results, please let us know.

Feed them Alka-seltzer.

I had a look at it but I guess it isn't suitable for a sundeck at a pool, as it is a paste.

Well, the pages loaded fast enough, but I'm still trying to decipher the sales message:

this seems to work well.. and looks tons of fun too. (could be a bit pricey though..)
