monty Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 Most likely the mobile data is not shut of. If you do not wish to use mobile data (use wifi only) you have to set "use mobile packet data" to off in the settings. Not doing this and the moment you see an E or H or 3G symbol on top of your screen, you are connected with mobile data and will be deducted 1 Baht per minute on AIS.
lomatopo Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 Can you share any details? Phone, make/model? SIM, plan? Assuming the phone has some sort of mobile data capability, and that you have not turned that off, and have not subscribed to any plan, then you are paying 1 baht/min (or 5 baht/MB), which means you chewed through the 300 baht is less than 5 hours. More details might yield recommendations.
