Hi Ron. Just out of curiosity, but what's that on the trailer? Unfortunately I can't make it out. Thanks.

Great photos everybody! I have a good camera but never have time to take photos... always too busy rushing about. Hopefully that'll change from mid September on.

It is a machine used to plant rice seedlings. Have a look in the rear of the pick-up and you will notice the rolls of seedlings used to feed the machine.

I'll see if I can dig up a video of one in operation.

This one may not be the same model but would operate much the same way.

The rice plant seedling transplanter is already out of date. The seeding machine which has been pictured on this forum, as well as the sprouting and growing results from this or similar seeding machine (we call them a grain drill) eliminates the need for hiring local labor for the seedling bed prepartion, the care of same, then the physical move of seedlings to the paddy to be transplanted by another group of local lay abouts.

This opinion, which i expect to see as a reality in most of Thailand within 2 to 4 years. is in regard to ron 19's and others, comment in his post 5634.and i am willing to make book on it
