Daikin Multi Split, Can't Find A Dealer That Sells Them

Featured Replies

Anyone know a Daikin dealer that sells the multi split models in Bangkok?

I am interested in getting the 3MKS68LVMA or 4MKS80LVMA outdoor unit

with three FTXS20KVMA or FTXS25KVMA indoor wall mounted units.

I have this information from the Australian branch:

http://www.daikin.co...ir-conditioning

Every dealer in my area (Phra Khanong) says the dreaded 'mai mee', and when pushing that they do a little effort results in 'mai dai'.

So i not feel the need to push on further and buy with them as this first sign of complete disinterest does not abode well for the future when service is needed.

I thought that these multi split units are perfect for Bangkoks condo's but it seems that new and more efficient technology takes a long time to get available.

So if someone knows a capable dealer, please leave a post.

Central air in Pattaya has Daikin split air systems. You need a minimum 30,000 compressor . They don't sell for smaller. This is what Diakin factory told me. We settled for 2 9000 btu models as it saved more than 50% cost of a split system. It was also not that easy for them to get to the right agent that dealt with mlti split systems. If you have a Central air dealer in BKK it may be worth a shot. The one here does not speak a lick of English which made it hard for my Thai gal to translate what was going on. Good Luck
