Shower Tub (Non Standard Size)

Featured Replies

Hello !

I have been desperately trying to find a shower tub for my bathroom.

All the local stores have the square and semi square variation of

about 90 x 90 cm.

I am looking to one that is 1.5 meters x 90 cm, fiberglass.

I know Dusholux has them, but after writing to them and calling them,

they refuse to do any business with me, directing me to a local re-seller

(Boonthavorn) who tells me they can't special order ....

Does anybody know of a local supplier or someone who cam make

custom tubs ?

I have been to about every large HW store in pattaya ...

I am living in Pattaya, any pointers appreciated ....

Thanks !

PS: I know I can make one out of tiles, etc, but would prefer to find a

one piece fiberglass version ....

Sorry - I know this doesn't help your problem - but WHY would you want to special order a fiberglass unit? These are usually the cheap solution to like trailer homes in the states anyway. If you want something to your specifications, it just seems to me that you would be a lot better off doing it with masonry - or a standard tub with a shower head. ??

Steve,

I just wanted the shower tub, not a full sized tub, these are only 4 inches tall.

Yes I agree, I would prefer an off the shelf unit as well, like Dusholux has on

their website. But since they refuse to sell those units, I am forced to look at

alternatives.

I have had some made from concrete and than tiled. But don't like the look that

much and the grout gets moldy and hard to keep up ...

I have made so many mistakes when building my house, now I am trying to fix

things the proper way !
