Honda Click Is Losing Power

Featured Replies

My click is losing power... Hills that were no problem before now force us to walk...

The bike is 5 years old, miles unknown. Is this 'normal' and does that mean the click will be dead soon?

Could be a number of things like a blown seal or the exhaust.

It's probably that new Gasahol 91. Happened to me too since Benzeine went bye bye.

If this is a recent problem bad fuel

If a slow decline:

Worn belt? Engine revs but bike won't go forward.

Dirty/sticky variator (unlikely) but will not change down on the hill so revs drop.

Broken or weak counter spring same as 2

Blocked air filter? Blocked fuel filter? Clogged injector (if EFI) Engine revs are normal but no power

Needs to go to Honda dealer for a service.
