Well done Canaries. Its a bit late for doing the maths but I think that the race for demotion is now limited to Wigan, Aston Villa and Sunderland. I say that because Wigan have to beat Villa on the last day to survive and that would mean all teams currently placed above Villa are already safe?

What do Norwich have to do in the Summer to survive another season? (apart from replacing the old man at the front - seems incredible now to think he was almost playing for England in the Euros 2 years ago). Hope it goes well - Norwich was my team for a few years in the 70s and I saw them win promotion to the first division back then (somewhere in London I think, maybe Watford).

Norwich definatly safe, great win against WBA, although I don't think Albion were trying very hard.

We have already signed Ricky van Wolfswinkle from Porto for £8 million, good striker by all accounts, and he mentioned in a dutch interview that he was told at least 3 more big money signings.

But you know I like the fact that these current players have all season gave 100% , in Snodgrass we have the makings of the top player.

Holt has taken flack, but we play much more defensive under CH than PL

Squard of mainly British players.

Here is a good link to show the state of PL clubs, Norwich fair very well.

As usual when journos think they can write about finance they've ignored the one thing that businessmen and professional accountants look at most, cash flow. The least useful of the stats is profit (because anyone with a college education and three years training can fix that).

I'm guessing that FFP will be based on profit :-)

Yes, Snodgrass has played far better for you than he typically did at Leeds. Not that surprising - when you are continually playing for mangers who are complete wonkers it's difficult to pull yerself out of bed.

Manager has stuck with Jonnhy Howson, also from Leeds, he will be a big player for us next season. I n fact I thought Leeds were trying to get back in the PL, by moving all the players to Norwichbiggrin.png

Can't wait to see Wolfdingle in action, he might just provide what we lacked this season. Goals

Loks over for Wigan, awful goalkeeping for the second goal, how many will Arsenal get now?

4-1 to the Arsenal. Feel sorry for Wigan who threw 3 points away last week and dropped 2 more to Spurs very unluckily. Sure to lose a few players and will Everton come a courting Roberto Martinez.

One of the few intelligent things I have heard Craig Burley say was last night when he pointed out that Steve Bruce took Wigan to 11th spot 6 years ago. Since then RM has not achieved higher than 15th and has gone lower at the end of every season - perhaps we are being seduced by the guy's lack of resources and attractive personality.

Everton maybe a step too far for him now. He could do with a mid table stalwart like Fulham or Stoke (not that I expect either of those positions to become available). It will be interesting to see what he can do with a little more money

yeah think there's some truth in this. but you also have to remember that martinez has had his best players sold off every season and basically had to start again each year, not something i think happened under bruce. plus martinez does seem a genuinely nice and likable bloke, again not something you can say about root vegetable headed bruce.

shame for wigan, they will probably lose half a dozen decent players now. mccarthy, mcarthur, mcmanaman, maloney could all go. still, wigan have had eight years in the premier league and won more trophies in that time than arsenal have. not so bad i guess.

But the OP says "Whose for the drop" (albeit the poor spelling I'd expect from a poorly educated tiny totts chump).

We have the answer: Reading, Wigan and QPR.

What is there to add?

Turned out to be the 3 least interesting clubs in the division that went down. No big shock like Villa or Newcastle going down..

The only really interesting game on the last day is at Tottenham, where hopefully Paolo's men can pull off a shock win.

I think Stoke, West Ham, Norwich and Everton are less "interesting" than Wigan have been this season.

He's just re-signed (not resigned unfortunately), so there will be another 3 years of it.

Just be glad you don't have a season ticket to watch his shit.

Liverpool because nobody really likes them, Man City because it turned out it all was a lie, and Sunderland because............well you know.

Ooops sorry, that was my wish list.

QPR, Reading, and Wigan.

QPR, Reading, and Wigan.

QPR, Reading, and Wigan.

What do I win?

Joke aside,

Interesting to see what Wigan will do in Europa League next season.
