DiNiro
Note to voters: those bad politicians will get rid of you before you can get rid of them.Watch out for politicians who prefer a senate with appointed members vs. a senate with 100% elected members.elected by whom?????????????elected by the people. Really. I cannot remember there ever being national elections for the senate. Sent from my i-mobile i-STYLE Q6 then you need to upgrade your knowledge about Thailands political system. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Senate_(Thailand) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thai_Senate_election,_2000 with the coup constitution we got an half elected, half appointed senate. currently there is an amendment that should bring us back the 100% elected senate. guess which party is against elected senators? who is that "bad party" that want to get rid of the voters? The ones that like control but can't win elections?

Buchholz
The norm in Thailand is that the poor sods vote for the politicians that pay them the most. That is the civil duty in Thailand The Democrats pay too. As said, the PTP paid the most. .

Thaksin's administration showed the failure of the all elected non-partisan Senate. If they want an all elected Senate, they need to drop the facade of it being non-partisan. . . Would that be one of the amendments alongside an amendment to whitewash Thaksin's convictions and promoted by those who deny being directed by Thaksin in order to avoid constitutional niceties? And would it be an amendment whose sole intent is to weaken the rule of law and forward the agenda of an elective dictatorship as the long game? Posing as electoral supporters the Thaksin apologists who are more than happy to line up alongside red village intimidation and outright red organised thuggery when it suits them has the ugly smell of hypocrisy running through the centre like a stick of rock. LarryBird
Here's a hint.. Thai politicians are corrupt because Thai people are corrupt... It runs top to bottom, and it doesn't stop with Somchai at the local market.
Gonsalviz
As with all the other countries of the world, there would be no politicians if all the bad ones were gone.
