Note to voters: those bad politicians will get rid of you before you can get rid of them.Watch out for politicians who prefer a senate with appointed members vs. a senate with 100% elected members.elected by whom?????????????elected by the people.

Really. I cannot remember there ever being national elections for the senate.

then you need to upgrade your knowledge about Thailands political system.

with the coup constitution we got an half elected, half appointed senate.

currently there is an amendment that should bring us back the 100% elected senate.

guess which party is against elected senators? who is that "bad party" that want to get rid of the voters?

The ones that like control but can't win elections?

Thaksin's administration showed the failure of the all elected non-partisan Senate.

If they want an all elected Senate, they need to drop the facade of it being non-partisan.

Probably the people that remember the many failures of the charlatan, supposedly non-partisan, Senate during Thaksin's years that did his bidding.

Would that be one of the amendments alongside an amendment to whitewash Thaksin's convictions and promoted by those who deny being directed by Thaksin in order to avoid constitutional niceties? And would it be an amendment whose sole intent is to weaken the rule of law and forward the agenda of an elective dictatorship as the long game? Posing as electoral supporters the Thaksin apologists who are more than happy to line up alongside red village intimidation and outright red organised thuggery when it suits them has the ugly smell of hypocrisy running through the centre like a stick of rock.
